What's New in Spring '20

We have great news! Fielo has just launched Spring ‘20, and we can’t wait to show you the new features added to the platform. Have you ever wanted to award members with cash, to keep track of how much you are spending in your program or to incentivize members to surpass their previous achievements? Now you can!

Read on to find out more.

For those who are familiar with the term rebates, you already know what this is about. Yes, now it is possible to offer cash payouts through Fielo! In addition to earning Points, badges and instant rewards, program members can be awarded with cash when you set a currency that generates payouts as the reward in an incentive.

Members can even keep track of the payouts they get from their community, though the My Payouts Lightning component.

There’s no need to worry about having to continuously update a spreadsheet in order to keep track of your program budgeting anymore. Create all the budgets you need on the Budgeting tab and set a spending goal for each of your incentives. This way, you’ll keep track of how much you’re spending in your program and even get warnings when the expenditures reach a certain threshold.

Agreements are a great way of setting the terms and conditions members need to follow, so that your program runs without a hitch. But, sometimes, the agreement created for the whole program doesn’t reflect all the small details you’d like to add to each incentive. That’s why it’s now possible to set an agreement for each challenge or promotion.

What can be more important than delivering a unique experience to members? That is how we all set ourselves apart in the market and encourage greater levels of engagement. Incentives is a new lightning component for communities, through which members will be able to accept the incentive agreements and see what they need to do to take part in a segmented incentive, with the new eligibility feature.

In addition to the capping feature that you already know, which can cap rewards and currencies during a period of time, it is now possible to apply it on a per-transaction basis. This is a fail-safe way to avoid delivering to the member an overly large reward for a transaction, but at the same time rewarding them accordingly.

Extra new functions! You can set caps to reward members in full even when they exceed the limit, and caps applied throughout the entire program will now include challenges too.

Have you ever wanted to encourage members to keep improving? This new aggregation mode for missions allows you to do just that! By choosing to use the Historical Data operator, Fielo will retrieve members’ past data in order to set the current mission’s goal. You decide how much, in percentage terms, you want the member to surpass their previous accomplishments in order to be rewarded.

Levels were also updated! With Spring ‘20, you can create levels based on members’ related lists, as it was already possible for segments. We have just added this type of criteria, so that levels can be defined by how many badges a member has, for example.

OBS: all features marked with a ( * ) do not work in Salesforce Classic.
