PLT R2 2023 Technical Release Notes

With the R2 2023 release, the platform includes some significant changes.

Important Considerations
- If you have any program currencies which are deducted via rules or challenge rewards, you'll need to enable negative rewarding on the corresponding Program Currency record(s).
- As of 2.172.5, if a member's balance is insufficient to expire a related Point record, that member's balance will be reduced to zero (unless negative balances have been enabled in the org).
- As of 2.172.5, the usePoints method will only double-check the expiration date of Points to be used when executing synchronously. When executing asynchronously, this check will not be performed. Asynchronous execution is most likely to occur in high data volume orgs.

A new fieldset Expire Points was added to the Point object.

Deprecations
The TestNegativeAccruals Apex class was deleted, and the AllowNegativeAccrual LMO-to-Subscriber parameter was deprecated.
No objects, fields or picklist values were deprecated in this release.
