Implementing Your Program
So, you've done some preliminary planning and you've installed Fielo. Now, let's get our hands dirty and make your program a reality!
We have broken down the setup process into steps so you can build your program at your own speed. Feel free to follow to videos below or go to each page directly to get in-depth written instructions.
1. Create a Program
Programs are the spaces in which your members and incentives reside, separate from any other programs. You can create just one program or, if you wish to cultivate more than one community of members, create multiple programs.
2. Define Levels
Levels let you distinguish your members using behavior-based criteria, enabling you to create a sense of urgency and excitement in your base.
3. Create Segments
Segments allow you to divide up your community of members dynamically in as many different slices as you wish. You can then apply those segments on your incentives, rewards, email campaigns and more.
4. Customize Currencies
Are you planning a points-based program or want to award members in cash? If you want to use a different label instead of "point", have more than one kind of currency in your program, allow non-whole numbers or add a currency that generates payout, check out Currencies.
5. Include an Agreement
Help ensure your legal ducks are in a row by including an agreement throughout the whole program or to each promotion and challenge.
6. Create Rewards
Whether you'll use Fielo's internal rewards catalog or an external provider like GRS, you'll want to make sure your members can win great stuff.
7. Create Badges
Badges are virtual emblems that you can consider giving as a kind of reputational reward.
8. Create Behaviors and Actions
Behaviors let you decide which Salesforce objects you want to create incentives for, while Actions let you decide which practices and participants you want create incentives for.
9. Create Incentives
Incentives are where you define the logic of how your members will perform actions and get rewarded. They're the real magic behind Fielo!
10. Set Caps
Set caps by period to limit the number of points that can be awarded via promotion rules, challenge rewards and/or mission rewards over a period of time. You can also set caps by record to limit the number of point on a per-transaction basis.
Use rewards caps to restrict how many rewards a member can get.
11. Set Up Messaging and Consents
If you want to keep in contact with your members from within Fielo, go ahead and set up Messaging. Use email campaigns to tell members about the latest incentives and transactional emails to send them personalized updates.
12. Add Members
If you want to deploy your program already with members, see Adding Members.
13. Manage Your Budget
Create a budget to your program and start to keep track of how your program funds are being spent. Get warned when expenditures reach a certain threshold.
14. Build a Site or Portal
If you intend to build a portal using Salesforce Sites, see Fielo Lightning Components for Experience Cloud. If you're thinking about integrating with an external site or mobile app, check out our REST API.
15. Set Up Analytics
Fielo loves Salesforce Reports and Dashboards, and we know you do, too! Consider using Analytics to take advantage of our unique KPI feature and give your reports an extra punch.
That's it!Looks like you've got everything covered 😉
