Installation and Setup

Requirements

Be sure you've first installed and set up IAS.

1. Install the Learning Package

Click here to log in to your org and begin installation.

Before continuing, please make sure that you are on Fielo PLT version 2.92, or above, in order to be able to install the latest eLearning version - 1.73.6.

Choose which users in your org will be configuring. If it will be just you and/or other admins, select Install for Admins only and click Install. When the installation process ends, the org administrator will be notified by email.

Upgrading ELR

In case you are upgrading your ELR package to the newest version, just click on the link above to start the upgrading process. If it will be just you and/or other admins will be using it, select Install for Admins only and click Upgrade.

Note: because of some changes done to the package throughout the time, ORGs with ERL versions prior to 1.61 must follow these steps in order to upgrade:

1. If you use FieloELR Llightning Components, remove all references to them and take note of the Experience Cloud pages to replace the old by the new ones.
2. Install FieloELR v1.66.1 with this link.
3. Install the latest FieloELR package with the link in the first step.
4. Reassemble the pages with the new Lightning Components introduced in FieloELR version 1.67.

2. Provide User Permissions

From Profiles, find the profile assigned to your loyalty portal members and click on Edit next to it.

For each of the objects below, enable the following Object Permissions and then click on Save:

In the Field-Level Security for each of the objects listed above, click on View and tick all Read Access and Edit Access check boxes (when available).

3. Edit Sharing Settings

Your new Experience Cloud site will require the edits to the Sharing Settings section. Click on Setup from the top right navigation. Under the Home tab, search in the Quick Find box for Sharing Settings. Go into on Sharing Settings and click on the Edit button. You will need to ensure the following options have the correct settings for Default Internal Access and Default External Access.

Go through the list to find and change the settings for each item in the picture below. For example, find Course within the list and ensure that it is set to Public Read / Write.

Once you have gone through all the items listed in the image above, go ahead and click Save.

4. Enable the FieloELR Library

After installing Learning package, you need to activate the FieloELR Library so that Learning incentives and page settings for Learning are enabled.

From the App Launcher () choose Fielo Platform. From Tools, access the Libraries section and hit Activate for FieloELR.

5. Add the Courses Tab

To access Learning, you'll need to add a new tab so that you can access it from IAS. (Note: This may have happened automatically in the previous step if you're using Lightning Experience.)

From Salesforce Setup, search for and selected App Manager. In the row corresponding to Fielo Platform Classic, click and choose Edit. Then select Courses from Available Tabs to add it to the Selected Tabs list.

In case the tab was not added automatically when using Lightning Experience, in the row corresponding to Fielo Platform Lightning, within the App Manager, click and choose Edit. Next, access the Navigation Items tab, look for and select Courses to add to the Selected Items column.

Don't forget to save after!
