Create and manage Posts
Posts is a repository used to show entries in your Site. It is especially useful for providing your community with frequently updated content, such as news, FAQs and events.
Create and edit Posts.
- From Content, click Posts> New post.
- Complete the following information:
General information section
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Status | Draft: Incomplete Post that can be viewed by any User who has corresponding permissions. |
| Pending: Post that is awaiting to be approved or rejected by another User who has corresponding permissions. | |
| Scheduled: Post that is due to be published as of its established Start date. Once issued, its status changes to Published. | |
| Rejected: Post that was rejected by a User who has enough permissions levels. | |
| Published: Post that was approved and is viewable by everybody. | |
| Unpublished: Post that was published before and it is currently disable. | |
| Start date | Date from which Post is published. |
| End date | Date up to which Post is published. If left blank, Post is published indefinitely. |
Content section
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Post name | Name of the Post. |
| Excerpt | Short description of the Post. |
| Content | Topic of the Post. Text editor to create written content. |
Featured image section
It allows you to choose an image type from the Media repository.
Taxonomy section
It allows you to choose a Category for Posts elements.
