Templates

Templates provide a way of enforcing a reusable and flexible Site structure. They include sections such as header, main section and footer. Templates enable you to include Components so that they can be seen throughout the complete Site navigation.

Edit Templates

After creating a Layout (See Layouts - Template section):

From Sites, click Dropdown menu> Template name (e.g. Welcome/Blank/Demo/Custom Template).
Click Edit.
Complete the following information:

Basic section

Field	Description
Name	Template name.
Title	This field should be left blank.
Owner	Template owner.
Last modified by	Last User who modified the Template.

Look and feel section

Field	Description
CSS classes	Keywords that can be included in the HTML class attribute. Keywords must be separated by blank spaces.

SEO section

Field	Description
SEO title	Title used by Search Engines for Page indexing in their search pages.
SEO description	Description of page content used by Search Engines.
SEO Keywords	Words that allow Search Engines to index your Site.

Wireframe section

It is divided into the following sections:

Header
It is composed by subsections, in which Components (See Components) can be added. Header, as well as its subsections, can be moved by dragging and dropping them into the desired placed.
Main section
It represents the section where Pages will be included (See Pages). This section can be moved but not deleted.
Footer
It is composed by subsections, in which Components (See Components) can be added. Footer, as well as its subsections, can be moved by dragging and dropping them into the desired placed.

Template buttons

1. Detail: the Detail link provides the details for the different Template sections and subsections.

Section detail

Field	Description
Section name	Alphanumeric code which identifies the section/subsection.
Parent	Section where a subsection belongs to.
Element type	Header.
Main.
Footer.
Div: standard content.
Article: article container.
Aside: secondary information container.
Page	Template name.

Look & Feel

Field	Description
CSS classes	Keywords that can be included in class attribute of the HTML. Keywords must be separated by blank spaces.
Width	Section/subsection size.
Owner	Section/subsection owner.
Created by	Person who created the section/subsection.
Last modified by	Last User who modified the section/subsection.

Edit: it allows you to edit the selected section/subsection.
Delete: it allows you to delete the selected section/subsection.
Clone: it duplicates the selected section/subsection.

2. Delete: it deletes the selected subsection.

New section

It allows you to add a new section to the Template.

One-column section: it contains only one subsection
Two-column right section: it contains two subsections, the largest one towards the right side of the section.
Two-column left section: it contains two subsections, the largest one towards the left side of the section.
Three-column section: it contains three subsections, the largest one in the center of the section.
Two-column section: it contains two subsections, both of the same size.
